Job description

The HR director, develops his field of expertise and innovative practices in order to contribute to the growth of the organization as well as to its profitability by developing and developing internal policies and procedures by integrating new trends in HR. Through his creativity, this person contributes to the development of the strategic human resources plan and sees to its implementation in order to achieve the objectives.

The HR director reports to the CEO. this person links communications with the various directors, vice-presidents, staff and external organizations. This person will have an HR coordinator under his governance.

 

  • See to the influence of the company for its innovative HR practice;
    Supervise, supervise and participate in the recruitment, reception and integration process;
    Supervise, supervise and participate in annual evaluations and disciplinary management;
    Act as a point of contact to answer all questions relating to human resources;
    Develop various reports and statistics using a technological tool;
    Define and implement an HR strategy to enable the company to face current challenges;
    Supervise, supervise and participate in respect and improvement of OHS performance in the 2 factories

Required skills

  • Excellent knowledge of labor laws, human resources legislation and conditions of employment
    Experience with international recruiting (an asset)
    CRHA or CRIA title (an asset)
    Good computer skills, excellent working knowledge of the MS Office suite, previous experience using databases
    Excellent written and oral communication skills required

 

Training requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, industrial relations or related field
    Minimum of 10 years experience in human resources management in a factory environment
