Job description

Reporting to the Technical Services Director, the Project Manager/Technician (Detailer) is responsible for:

  •  Preparing technical drawings for reinforcing steel installation in accordance with industry standards and client requirements
  • Plan construction site deliveries according to the schedules provided
  •  Manage any changes and propose solutions as needed
  • Produce detailed order forms required for steel processing in the plant
  • Maintain regular contact with the customer and other stakeholders on projects

Required skills

  • Control of Autocad software and a good knowledge of the Office suite
  • Knowledge in reading of plan
  • Experience in concrete structure and reinforcement (an asset)
  • Experience in project management (an asset)
  • Functional English (spoken and written)

Training requirements

  • Training in technical drawing (DEP), civil engineering or architecture (DEC)
