1. Under the authority of the chief estimator, the incumbent of this position is responsible for taking the quantities for the realization of a tender for a steel reinforcement project. His in-depth knowledge of steel structures will make him an expert in analyzing the plans of the various large-scale projects that will be submitted to him. As an estimator you will:
   
   Make sure you collect all the relevant information for each project such as:
   Paper and electronic documents: plans, specifications, addenda, tender documents
   Analyze and interpret the instructions given by the client, type of price, scope of work, bid formula
   Study plans and specifications
   Record the quantities of special products at the start of the project:
   

• Studrails
• V-Rod
• Post-Tension
• Acier
• Stainless
• Autre

 Ensure effective communication with community stakeholders and clients: email or telephone Develop and maintain a good business relationship with our customers

Required Skills

• Demonstrated skills in reading maps

• Experience in the field of steel structure (an asset)

• Knowledge of reinforcing steel dimensions (an asset)

Required Training

• Civil engineering technique or DEP in building design

• 5 years experience
