ABF commenced work in September 2012 to provide approximately 6,700 tons of reinforcing steel for the "Growing Up Healthy" project at the Sainte-Justine University Hospital Centre in Montréal. ABF is proud to participate in the modernization project of this institution, whose crucial mission affects all regions of Québec. The work, which is scheduled to be completed in May 2014, includes, among others, the construction of the following structures: an underground parking garage, a specialized unit, a research centre and a thermal power plant. In addition to the benefits for the children and the community, the construction and redevelopment work is planned in a spirit of sustainable development, making this project one that doubly meets the values cherished by ABF.
